When used with a Single Driveway Gate, this mounting post allows for your new gate to be installed according to your preferences and placement. This single post measuring 8' x 3" x 3" includes hinges for easy installation. It can accommodate both pull-to-open and push-to-open setups, as well as gates that hinge on either the left or the right.

Installation requires setting the post approximately 2' deep into the ground, so the height will be about 6' after installation. Many gateposts do not accommodate the installation of the post-mounting brackets in a way that the mandatory setback is achieved. This post comes finished in black with a top post cap.
