When used with a Single Driveway Gate, this mounting post works as a "dummy." It is placed to be inline opposite the setback to provide a symmetrical appearance. This single post measures 8' x 3" x 3" and doesn't include hinges to highlight its a smooth surface. This post can compliment both pull-to-open and push-to-open setups, as well as gates that hinge on either the left or the right.

Installation requires setting the post approximately 2' deep into the ground, so the height will be about 6' after installation. Post comes finished in black with a top post cap.
